FAQ
-
How does the inquiry process work?
First we’ll gather some basic information from you via our inquiry questionnaire. If we have your date available we will schedule a consultation call so we can have a chance to meet, chat and go a little deeper into your details and vision for the day. Calls typically last around 15 - 45 minutes and are scheduled during our office hours between 10-6 on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
After the call we will sit down and get to work on your proposal. The wait time will be about 7-8 days as we come up with a detailed plan, moodboards, and estimate for your custom proposal.
-
How far in advance should we contact you about our wedding flowers?
There is no rule when it comes to this only that we begin accepting inquiries up to 14 months out from the date. We find 7-8 months is the sweet spot but have booked up to 2 months out so it really depends on our availability and the closer to the date we are the more narrow the window of availbiliy gets.
-
How do I book you as our wedding florist?
If you are ready to book our services we require a 25% deposit payment and signed contract which you will find at the end of your proposal.
Your final payment will be due 30 days from the event.
-
Do you have a minimum for weddings or events?
Yes we do! Our current minimum investment for full service weddings is $6,500. This ensures that we can provide a product that meets our standards and ensures you get quality florals for your event.
-
May I see a mockup of the proposed florals?
We do offer mockups for our clients upon request with a minimum fee of $200 depending on the design requested. Mock ups take place during “off season” ie. summer or winter and we request they be booked in the season closest to your date so we can present floral collections that will most closely resemble what you will receive for your event.
-
How far will you travel?
We love road trips and are definitely willing to travel most anywhere for events! We’ve worked all over Maryland, DC, Southern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Northern Virginia and even Maine.
-
Do you offer floral preservation?
Short answer no, but we know some awesome people that do! If you’re interested in turning your bouquet into a lovely keepsake take a look at our friends at Wren and Olivia.

What is A La Carte?
Great question! A la carte is a way of getting professionally designed florals for your wedding or event etc. without paying to have us set up or deliver. This is a great option if you have a lower budget and a few extra hands willing to help you with gathering and placing. We offer options like bud vases, and centerpieces, as well as a few ceremony options like ground gardens that are easy to transport and place and all of the vessels and mechanics are included in the price so they make great giveaways to family and friends at the end of the night.
